Why does DNS Wall exist?
We aim for the internet to one day we a tracker and advertisement-free environment. There is a famous saying that by seeing something you change it and with trackers watching your every click, companies constantly change to get YOU to buy their products, for example, Google Flights.
Google Flights sole purpose is to find out where people want to fly, and how much they are willing to pay. This type of data is crucial to airlines and booking sites to make each customer pay the most. Many say the price increases as the days come closer to the departure date, however, the price changes because the airlines see the demand for a flight increases via trackers, therefore the price goes up, then more people are incentivized to buy before the price goes further up, then the demand increases, and so on in a never-ending cycle. The next time you take a flight ask the person sitting next to you how much they paid for their ticket because I can guarantee you, even if they purchased it on the same hour on the same day, they would have paid a different price for practically the same seat.
Most websites on the internet you visit are filled with trackers and advertisements. These often slow down pages and can increase the time you wait for a site to finish loading. By eliminating trackers and advertisements you decrease the number of elements your computer needs to load in and that's where we come in.
